Q: ARE YOU RELATED TO THE OTHER ZACA CREEKS IN THE AREA (ZACA CREEK RANCH, ZACA CREEK GOLF COURSE, ETC)?

We aren’t affiliated, but we admire both. Zaca Creek is an old, established name; in Chumash, “Zaca” means “quiet or restful place.” We also offer Zaca Creek Ranch’s excellent cold brew here at the inn and tavern. Try it in an espresso martini.

Zaca Creek does not have a pool open for guests.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A JACUZZI?

Zaca Creek does not have a Jacuzzi.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A GYM ON THE PROPERTY?

Zaca Creek does not have a gym.

Q: DO YOU SERVE BREAKFAST AT THE TAVERN?

No, the Tavern isn’t open for breakfast. We serve Happy Hour and dinner Thursday to Monday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the bar and the restaurant are both closed. For breakfast, you can order two sandwich options to be delivered to your room at 9 AM. Please place your order by 9 PM the night before by calling or emailing.

Q: HOW FAR AWAY IS ________ FROM ZACA CREEK?

We are located in a great part of the valley, with all towns a short drive away. Solvang is about 6 minutes, Los Alamos and Los Olivos about 12 minutes, and Santa Ynez around 15 minutes. Traffic can be heavy in Solvang during busy seasons, so plan accordingly.

Q: DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GETTING AROUND THE VALLEY?

Uber, Lyft, and similar services are not always reliable in the Santa Ynez Valley. We recommend local taxi companies. We’re happy to help arrange pick-ups and return trips. Some good options are 805 Taxi Services at (805) 325-3787 and 805 Transportation at (805) 500-8687.

Q: I TOOK AT A LOOK AT THE MAP AND NOTICED THAT YOU ARE CLOSE TO HIGHWAY 101. WILL THERE BE ROAD NOISE IN THE ROOM?

Our rooms have stone walls that provide natural insulation and reduce outside noise. However, some noise from the nearby highway may still be heard. Room #1 is closest to Jonata Park Rd and the highway; Room #6 is farther away. If noise is a concern, please notify us in advance for possible room changes. Noise complaints after check-in do not qualify for refunds or discounts.
